Borgeson has updated their power steering conversion box for the 1958-1964 full-size Chevrolets from the old 605 style, to a modern Delphi 600 power steering gearbox. The 600 power steering box offers true modern steering feel with a variable ratio that offers slower speed turning for stable highway driving and quicker turning for easy parking and low speed maneuverability.
This new box features a true bolt-in design, bolting directly to factory mounting position and has been modified to fit the stock pitman arm. This conversion has been designed to allow clearance for cars with the 409 large radiator and cars equipped with large aftermarket sway-bar kits.
Conversion gearboxes are available separately, or as complete kits that include steering box, pump, pump bracket, pulley, hoses, universal joint and intermediate shaft.
