The built in rev-limiter is great when stuck in a mud hole or trying to scale the surface of a rock. The rev-limit will allow the motor to not over-rev due to loss of traction. The hotter spark allows for more throttle response which makes it easier to finesse the throttle when necessary. Since it’s a digital ignition, it doesn’t take much power to operate which is great when running a winch and extra lighting. The circuit board is fully encapsulated which gives it the ability to handle the bounce and bump of most off-road situations. If running fuel injection, use the Off-Road EZ which triggers off your existing coil for easy install with less wiring.
